I Bavarian Bats, nominati recentemente squadra dell'anno 2019 dalla BVS Bayern, sono stati intervistati dalla München Tv.
La coach e dirigente Renate Buss ed il giocatore Mirco Seefeldt hanno raccontato la loro emozione nel vincere un premio così significativo ed inaspettato.
Renate inizia spiegando un po’ come si svolge il gioco e le differenze con il Baseball normodotati, mostrando al pubblico le varie attrezzature utilizzate.
Mirco, che è entrato nel mondo del BXC 3 anni fa, racconta a sua volta come si svolge una partita ed anche come gli allenatori insegnano i gesti tecnici ai giocatori durante gli allenamenti.
Al momento i Bavarian sono l’unica squadra di Baseball per non vedenti in Germania, ma Mirco dice che si stanno impegnando molto anche in altre città per riuscire a creare altre realtà di BXC.
Renate aggiunge che sono in contatto con altre località per poter costituire altre squadre in Germania, in modo da poter fare un campionato e migliorare sempre più giocando l’uno contro l’altro, mentre spiega che a livello internazionale hanno avuto la fortuna di poter giocare contro l’Italia, la Francia ed il Regno Unito.
Chiaramente durante l’emergenza COVID-19, spiega la Buss, non hanno potuto allenarsi ma stanno riprendendo piano piano, cercando di seguire tutte le disposizioni sanitarie.

The Bavarian Bats, recently named team of the year 2019 by BVS Bayern, were interviewed by München TV.
Coach and manager Renate Buss and player Mirco Seefeldt told their emotion in winning such a significant and unexpected award.
Renate begins the interview by explaining how the game is played and the differences with Baseball showing the cameras the various equipment used.
Mirco, who entered the BXC world 3 years ago, talks about how the game is played and also how coaches teach technical skills to players during training.
At the moment the Bavarians are the only Baseball team for the blind in Germany, but Mirco says that they are also working hard in other cities to be able to create other BXC situations.
Renate adds that they are in contact with other sites to be able to set up other teams in Germany, so they can make a championship and improve more and more by playing against each other. On the other hand, she explains, they were able to play internationally against Italy, France and the United Kingdom.
During the COVID-19 emergency, explains Buss, they could not train but now they are slowly getting back to practice, trying to follow all the health provisions.
